How do I pick the right size?

You could see a standard US size chart comes with every garment. The sizes you see in our size chart refers to actual body size measurements, and NOT clothes sizes. Simply pick your clothing size just as before. Surely that you can always exchange an item for free, with the same serial No. if it doesn't fit.

 

Do you offer larger or smaller clothing sizes?

For most of our products, we do. Our largest women size goes up to XXL (US Size) and XXXL (US Size) for men, smallest women goes down to XS (US Size) and S (US Size) for men. However, if you couldn't find the sizes you need, we do offer customer-made service for some selected designs.

 

Do you have cleaning and ironing instructions?

How to maintain cheongsam?

Most cheongsam women wear are made of brocade, which can't be washed with water, nor can it be washed by washing machine. You'd better send it to the special laundry.

Be careful when you wear it. Don't let oil, coca or lipstick stain on your clothing, for it's difficult to clean such substance and even the laundry can't clean it completely. Don't wear the same cheongsam for several days. Be careful of the sharp-pointed objects so as not to make hole or hook silk out of the cheongsam. Don't roll the sleeves up for convenience. If you smear your new cheongsam carelessly, you can iron the stain with a wet cloth under it. The dust will cling to the cloth and in this way the cheongsam can not only be cleaned but also ironed.

Cheongsam should be hung up with a wide hanger if you don't wear it. Make sure that the shoulders should be propped properly. Before putting it into the wardrobe, remember put moth-resistant pills. But the camphor balls, which will make the bleached light-colored silk clothes become yellow, shouldn't be applied.

How to maintain the clothes of different fabric?

The maintenance of the clothes made of silk
Washing: Wash the Fabric and clothes made of silk with neutral detergent. Wash it gently by hand, instead of using the washing machine. Dry it in the cool places. Never expose it in the sun. When the clothes are dried practically, iron it with a white cloth pad. The ironing temperature can be a little high but don't squirt water on it in case that watermark will be left. Dry it before you store it. Don't put moth-ball in the light-colored bleached fabric for fear that it will make the fabric yellow.

Dry Cleaning: All silks can be dry cleaned, although many very soiled fabrics respond better to washing. Some silks should only be dry cleaned. They include: Thai-silk, taffeta, brocade, metallic, velvet, chiffon, and some satins, charmeuse, and crepe.

The maintenance of the clothes made of synthetic fiber and blending fabric

Firstly, wash it in plain water. Then use the weak basic detergent with the water temperature under 40 degree centigrade. Dry it by hands gently instead of using washing machine. Straighten the clothes and hang it in cool and well-ventilated places. Don't expose it in the sun. The ironing temperature should not be high (the Fabric containing chlorofibre: under 70 degree centigrade; the Fabric containing acrylicfibre: under 100 degree centigrade.) If it is a bright-colored fabric, the ironing temperature should be lowered moderately. Don't use much force when ironing the clothes and keep the electric iron moving constantly. Pad is needed to prevent the fabric from softening. (The Fabric containing vinylon can't be ironed with water) Store it after drying and cooling.

The maintenance of the clothes made of the cotton
After washing the clothes with the weak basic detergent, rinse it in plain water. Don't brush it forcefully in case that it will pill. Don't expose it in the sun too long. The ironing temperature should not be high. You'd better put a white cloth pad on the clothes when ironing. Store it after drying and cooling.

Wash it with neutral detergent in the lukewarm water. Don't soak it in the boiling water. Wash it by hands gently. Then dry it in the well-ventilated places. Put a wet pad under when ironing. The Fabric containing chemical fiber shouldn't be high-temperature ironed or ironed repeatedly. When you store it, please keep it dry and moth proof it. You'd better hang it up.

The maintenance of the clothes made of combination of two fabrics

You could only pay attention to the main Fabric. If you can't decide which two Fabrics to combine, please choose the main Fabric. If one of the fabric is dry cleaned only. Then the clothes could be dry cleaned only. You could also get advise from us through e-mail.

How long does it take before my order shipped out?

Usually it takes about 2 to 3 days since we received your payment for your orders. It may take longer (less than two weeks) if you are wholesale customers. As we may need more time to prepare for the items you ordered.

What kinds of deliveries do you use? How long do they cost?

Dragon Orient usually delivers products via Standard International Air Parcel. This is a 10-day service to global destinations, so you can usually expect deliveries to reach you within two weeks, AFTER the time of dispatch. We also offer 3-day Express Service for an extra fee.

How much do you charge for shipping fee?

Our products are shipped direct from China to the USA and the rest of the world.

a) 10-Day Registered Standard Shipping

Registered post means your package will be provided with a tracking number and requires a signatory to sign for your goods at your address. If there is no one to receive the goods during working hours, a delivery notification slip with be left at the recipient's address. The person needs to personally claim their package at their nearest post office using the delivery slip.

** Using "Registered" parcels will allow us to track your package in case of excessive delays or lost delivery. The normal time for us to track the whereabouts of lost packages is about 3 months. (This leading time is governed by the post office and not within our control). DragonOrient.com insures our customers who order via this mode of shipment, and you can choose to have the same items sent back to you OR for us to issue you a full store credit after 3 months upon confirmation of the loss of items by the post office. You may use this store credit to purchase other items of your choice.

b) 3-Day Worldwide Express

If you need your order in hurry, worldwide express is a good choice. Our main choice of courier services is via UPS, Fedex, DHL, or EMS (that depends on the destination the parcel shipped to).

We cannot accept a shipping address containing a P.O. Box number, please use a valid street address for delivery of your order.

UPS Address Correction: Please make sure your address is complete with your street number, apartment/suite number, city, state and zip code. UPS charges for address corrections and that fee will be an additional cost to your order. 

Shipping charges for orders via express, sent to an incorrect address or P.O. Box that are returned to us are non-refundable. Because the express company charge us for the return fee.

In the very rare event of lost packages, we will contact the express company on your behalf who will reimburse you with the full amount of your order items. Please allow up to 1 month to claim for your losses in such an instance.

Does DragonOrient.com charge for tax?

DragonOrient does not charge for tax. We have revised this policy to gain increased customer satifaction without having you to be burdened by difficulties in receiving your order, for your benefit. As this is a random procedure depending on the country of destination most of the time the customs tax and duties may not be charged as residential. You should announce it's your personal package without commercial intention to debate the tax charges when it happens. We want you to know that when you order from DragonOrient, you will receive your package in good condition, on time, with no hidden surprises.

How do you prevent accidental damages to your products during delivery?

All products are carefully wrapped with utmost care to ensure a safe delivery to its destination. We use a combination of packaging materials such as bubble paper, Styrofoam and corrugated cardboard boxes. In the rare event that you encounter goods damage. There may be two conditions. One condition is that the package is damaged, which leads to the damage of the products. You could refuse to accept the parcel, and ask the delivery company to compensate for it. The other is that the outside of the parcel is whole, unspoiled. But the products are damaged. Then you could check our Returns Policy.

How about the charges & exchange rates?

For customers who paid by credit card, please note that there may be very slight differences in your credit card statement with the total amount stated in your order invoice due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates from the time your card is charged in US$ currency to the time our bank converts it into Chinese currency.

 What products can be returned or refunded?

DragonOrient is committed to providing high-quality products for your needs. If for any reason one of our products fails to meet your expectations, you can return your order at any time within 45 days of your order date for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price. We allow ALL BUT THE FOLLOWING products to be returnable/refundable:

- Custommade clothings.
- Personal name imprinted T-shirts
- discounted and bargain selection items

- items has been worn
- items purchased over 45 working days
- items damaged by improper cleaning method or wearing.

-For wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and flower grils dresses, all sales are final. This final sale policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

We usually advice customer to contact our staff before sending items back to us, as there may be times when we can help you avoid unnecessary costs of sending your items back to us. We'll tell you the best way to handle your returns or exchanges and what you can expect from our end. Who pays for shipping exchange or return items back to DragonOrient.com?

In a normal event, the customer will be responsible for shipping their items back to us, whereas we shall be responsible for re-shipping exchange items back to you. Thus, we suggest you make careful selections for clothing before you finalize your order. Please refer to the appropriate size chart information when ordering clothes. Our size charts follow US standards.

Can I get a refund?

You will be eligible for a refund claim within 45 days from the date you placed your order. For refunds, we will issue you an immediate refund of the value of your returned goods minus 10% re-stocking fee. This applies ONLY for items purchased at normal retail price. Discounted items or items purchased as part of a special promotion are NOT eligible for cash refunds, although we may be able to offer you equivalent to the amount of the purchase price of your returned goods. These can be redeemed as cash equivalents on your next purchase. For the best arrangement, please contact our staff to service your return request.

 Why do I have to pay a 10% re-stocking fee for refunds?

This is a store policy set by management. We need to charge a nominal fee in order to offset the cost of order processing.

Order Tracking & Modification

What happens after I place my order?

You could get an email, with a copy of your latest order by our ordering system immediately. You will also receive another email from us in about 2 business days to inform you of the status of your order. Please ensure that you are using your correct email account to view your email copy (i.e. the same email address you specified when filling out our online order form).

I haven't received any information about order status. Is there a problem?

You should have received an acknowledgement approximately the status of your order in about 2 business days after you had placed your order. This message will inform you whether your package has been dispatched or of available options in the rare event that your order cannot be processed. Please ensure that you are using the correct email account to view our acknowledgement email directed to you (i.e. the same email address you specified when filling out our online order form).

I still haven't received my package within the time you specified. What's wrong?

We usually need 3 working days to process your order before it is shipped out. Once it's shipped, it will take another 7-10 working days for your package to arrive at its shipping address. Packages on express deliveries will take about 3-4 working days in shipping time to reach the recipient. In the rare event that the recipient faces unexpected delays in receiving our products, this could be due to a customs holdup. These holdups are usually temporary before the goods are re-released to the recipient. The holdups are part of random checks conducted by customs staff to ensure that packages originating from overseas do not contain harmful ammunitions or chemical products. Please allow a grace waiting period of about 1 week if there happen to be cases of such unusual delays. After which, you can always contact us again for help.

What happens in the event of lost packages?

We offer 2 types of delivery methods, via UPS, Fedex, DHL, or EMS (that depends on the destination the parcel shipped to), or 10-Day Registered Parcel. (See Shipping Information In an effort to further your shopping experience with us, DragonOrient.com are protecting customers on any loss of packages sent to you via UPS or Registered Post. For registered postings, simply wait 3 months, so we can determine and confirm that the package has been lost, and we will reimburse you a full store creditup to the value of the product that you chose. For UPS deliveries, it may take up to 1 month to claim for reimbursements. We remain as always 100% dedicated to customer service.

How do I cancel an order?

You may only cancel an order prior to it being shipped out. A deduction of 5% bank service fee will be imposed for cancelled orders to offset the charges of online credit card payment gateways. We shall not be able to process a cancellation once your order has been shipped out.

Store Coupons/Gift Certificates

What is the difference between store coupons and gift certificates?

Store coupons are used during promotion periods where customers may be entitled to discounts, free gifts or free shipping by entering their coupon codes during the checkout process.

Gift certificates are similar to store coupons, but are normally used for gift-giving. The sender purchases a gift cert from our store and our system automatically sends a gift cert code to the recipient via email. The recipient can then visit our website and redeem items of their choice from our website equal to the value of the gift cert. If they would like to redeem an item of greater value than their gift cert, the recipient will be responsible for any extra charges incurred.

How do I redeem your store coupon?

Once you've selected your favorite items in your basket, all you have to do to redeem the coupon is enter the code on the order form page. The discount you specified will automatically be calculated and displayed on the second page of the order form.

Can I use more than one coupon?

No, you can only use one coupon per order. However, you may redeem any store credits you may have remaining at DragonOrient in the same order.

How do I order or redeem your gift certificate?

When you order a gift certificate, our checkout system generates a unique gift certificate code. This code is emailed to the recipient with the purchaser's personal message and a subject line that identifies it as a gift certificate. Here's an example:
